To Send or Not To Send?

Test Day 1--- 11th grade
Math II (740)
Physics (670)
Biology (710)

Test Day 2--- 12th grade
Math II (800)
Physics (780)

The question is: Should I send my bad Math and Physics scores, or not? Maybe sending them shows that I am capable of improvement?

Will colleges know if I used score choice?

If the college does not accept score choice, you are required to send them all by not exercising score choice. If the college does accept score choice and requires two SAT IIs, you can and probably should just send official scores for the most recent math and physics.

As to whether the college will know you exercised score choice: (a) college board won’t tell them or indicate such when it sends the official scores; (b) your high school may be one of many that puts all your scores on your official high school transcript so it may tell; (c) your application may ask you to list all scores so you may have to tell, and (d) if the college rejects score choice and finds out you used it, it could reject you or later withdraw your admission for doing so.
