to send or not to send?

Specifically, I'm referring to Cornell College of Engineering, but also to some other engineering schools.

SAT 2 Math level 1 or 2 and 1 science are required. I have four SAT 2s.

I am sending my science - Biology-M - 750 and my math - Math 2 - 730.

My other two are significantly lower -- French - 640 and US History - 600. However, I have a 5 on my APUSH exam which kind of counters the horrific SAT 2. French i basically took to see how I would do, and i basically screwed myself on the history because i messed up majorly. I am capable of better, but I'm not retaking. Basically my question is...will my french and USH scores negatively affect my chances? or will it at least look positive that I took the initiative to take the tests (my guidance counselor seems to think this about a lot of tests, though he didnt specifically say this to me)?

I understand your concern. I took Math Level II: 800 and Chemistry: 720 and also applying to Cornell Engineering. Everybody takes an initiative to take whatever subject test they want to take, so we can’t be sure how they will consider that. I got a 610 on my Physics SAT (but considering that I self-studied it I’m pretty happy) and I won’t be sending it even though it shows I took the initiative to take a stab at it. I would advise you to send just the math and biology score to be on the safe side. Good Luck!
