Sorry for the caps, but let me just start out by saying that I know the deadline to sign up for the SAT is today, I don't know what time, it might have already passed but I'm procrastinating. I took the June SAT, did very poorly, so I need to take it over again. I also haven't studied so if I roll with the October SAT, it doesn't give me that much time to prepare. I have been planning to sign up for the November test but I don't know how that will work out due in part to sending in apps, etc. I am also risking that I won't get or feel sick on the Nov. test date. Should I sign up to take the test in October and again in November so I have twice the chance to increase my scores, what should I do?

Do it in November. If you are not prepared then there is no point. it might hurt u to take the test unprepared.

I agree with drnoeyedea. You want to improve your scores so if you're unprepared, you're wasting $50. Don't worry about applying to college because for regular decision, colleges take scores from tests before January 08.

Another here agreeing with the responses you've already received. If you're not ready, you're wasting your time and money and would end up with two poor scores on your record. Start preparing NOW so that you are ready in November, and make sure you get enough sleep before the test.
