to skip calc or to take calc...that is the question

Do more Stevens students with AP Calc credits retake the course in college for the easy A / GPA boost, or do they generally skip the class and take Calc 2 or even Linear Algebra in their first semester? Thanks

If you did well in Calc BC in high school, I would skip Calc 1. If you need reinforcement, take Calc 1 at Stevens.

There is a math placement test you need to take even if you have AP calc. They really encourage you to take calc at Stevens.
