Hey what do you guys think about studying the night before the test?

(Note: Post # 20 WOOO!)

At night? Definitely not. I plan to skip school, go over all my material for both subject tests, and then chillax at night. I need the night to let my brain soak in all the knowledge, and I need to rest for the test.

first time through i ONLY studied the night before. took half a practice test. i got a 2090 that time. lets hope for a 50+ improvement with probably NO studying since im working the night before!!!

actually skim over a little bit would be helpful

i shoulde have done that

I studied till 11:30 and then woke up at 5 to study for another 2 hours.

Hahahahah.

I crammed in 150 years of US history yesterday.

I dabbled in my studying, read as fast as I could, and highlighed/procrastinated for about two weeks. The night before, and the morning of, I studied like a mofo. I think I pulled 700+ on at least two, and quite possibly on all three. I doubt it's true with everyone else, but when I'm under intense pressure I remember things a lot better.

I "skimmed" and "reviewed" for 3 hours yesterday.

study or review on the test day morning........hella USEFUL...

I'd suggest doing the same thing you do for "big" tests in HS ... treat this like any other test ... and that is different for everyone.

I studied night before but I can't say that it helped me in answering questions that I wouldn't have answered if I had not studied.

I didn't study at all until the night before the tests, and that studying consisted of looking at a few questions and then getting bored. I did about 90% of my studying the morning of the tests (about 30 minutes worth all told).

I study the night before a lot and then skim through the morning of.

I studied what I could teh night before (gaah, I was at work, so I didn't get as much studying done as I would've liked), and as soon as I got home I hit the sack (around midnight).

It was helpful enoguh. I'd forgotten entire topics like nuclear chemistry.

Well, there weren't really many questions on specific topics (like nuclear chemistry). I think what was important was remembering general concepts, and that should (hopefully) lead to a decent score ^_^
