To submit SAT II scores or not?

A lot of the colleges I want to apply to recommend that I submit SAT subject tests. I took the US history and literature back in May, and I absolutely bombed them because I didn’t think they’d be THAT hard (I know—it’s all my fault). When I say bombed, I mean that I got a 620 on both.

My question is whether I should even bother sending them because colleges say that I should, but if my test scores are that low, wouldn’t they just reflect badly on me? For those owndering, I got a 2150 on my SAT I and a 33 on the ACTs

It depends on the schools you are applying to. If you are applying to a school that requires SAT II’s, then submit them, if they are optional then don’t. But in my opinion, a 620 does not mean you “bombed” them.

Bump

Have you considered taking them again?

I’m not sure I have enough time because I am applying early action for most of my schools. I was planning on taking SAT I again in October so…

Your subject tests are relatively much lower than your ACT. I would take the subject tests again rather than SAT I.
