To take or not to take?

I really need your help! My school's ap registration is is 2 days and I'm still unsure of whether to Take the AP Physics B Exam. I am taking 3 other definately,: AP Chem, AP US, and AP Psych, all three of which I am very confident on! I've only taken one in the past: AP World=5 . My issue: Physics has to be my worst subject ever! For some reason, it takes me forever to solve the problems. I'm smart(ish) but not a math genius, so I might have trouble on the test. Also, I will be studying like mad these next two months for the other three.

My question: should I pay the 80 bucks (combined with other, VERY expensive for my family) for the AP Physics, put an extra load on my study schedule, and hope for 4 or 5? or should I not take it?

Will it look bad if I don't take the Physics exam after taking AP class, like I chickened out of biggest challenge? or will it hurt me more if I get 3 or less?

P.S: I want to get into a top UG business school, like NYU or Michigan, if that helps.

thanks, and any advice would be much appreciated!

hey fuzzman, i am in the same situation kind of. but the thing with my school is that AP exams are mandatory after an ap test. check if your school is like that too.
but if not, and you feel like you won't be able to do the AP physics B exam, dont do it. maybe try taking a practice test. is it IMPOSSIBLE? or can you get help from your teacher / classmate/ etc. ?

Try asking your teacher for copies of the old AP exams so you can see how hard the test really is; sometimes the course material may seem a lot harder than the stuff they test you on when you take the AP, so having real tests to look at will help you see if you're ready for the test or not.

If you don't take the AP Physics test, I don't think it'll hurt you in the college admissions process, especially since you're probably going to do really well on the three other APs you are taking this year! Most colleges only use AP scores for placement for intro courses during freshman year anyway, so AP scores are not a huge part of your admissions decision.
