I think the essays are a big factor too. I was accepted ED PLME as well. It was really, really unexpected though since nothing in my resume stood out much, at least I didn't think so. I had several ECs, good grades, 2250 SAT and some research, but my essays were killer.

When I read the acceptance letter, I wasn't even excited or happy at first since it was so off the wall. Anyway, I'm glad for whatever computer glitch got me in, I'll see you at Brown matt.

My son was very surprised also (last yr). At first, he didn't even realize he was accepted to PLME. The letter was worded a bit differently. He started celebrating as soon as he read the part about being accepted to Brown and didn't realize it mentioned PLME, til I read that over his shoulder. Didn't rush to check his other acceptances until later.

hey
im jus applyin to the PLME program right now, under RD
i was just wondering whether you had any specific advice on the essays
and also, when you send the mailed backage to brown, do you have to send it to the regular admissions office or the medical school at brown(not too sure, since im an international student applyin)
thanx so much

I’m applying to PLME, and I’m having a bit of trouble of with my essays. I think I’m pretty much done with my first one, but I have no clue how to do the second one. They wanted us to write down what courses we would take if we were to get into PLME? I"m really really confused…

Can anyone who already got into PLME or is applying there help me with my essay? I’ll try to help you with yours if you need as well…

Does the PLME alum live in your area? The reason I ask is because I don’t think a PLME alum lives in my area…does this mean I won’t get an interview?

no, i think is just casualty, although I am applying to PLME I don’t think they just gave me that alumni because my plme. you can get an interview with someone that is not PLME.
