To Those Accepted...

So guys, aren't you excited? I was wondering what schools you guys got accepted into (I got into MCS) and whether you'll be definitely/maybe/not attending.
What's the deciding factors for going to CMU for you guys? I'll go first.

I love CMU's reputation for hard-working college students and faculty. I like their technology. I know that graduating from cmu will prepare me really really well for my career. I hear the food tastes pretty good. Fine arts is really strong.

i got into mcs too

for me its a maybe

depends on financial aid and other factors

yeahh mcs! go class of 2010

I have a quick question, since most of the people on this board probably know more about CMU than I do...

I got accepted into HSS and MCS. I want to double major in English and Biology, so does it matter which school I choose?

I'm really excited and i will attend if financial aid works out in my favor

Got into CIT. Waiting for finanical aid and if I get into Berkeley and Cornell to make my decision, but Im definatly considering attending.

Anarchy: Double majors are declared junior year in college. It really doesn't matter which college you pick.

I guess I'm kinda excited, the school is great but Pittsburgh....:-(

What's wrong with pittsburgh?

its boring

i got in with only a 1450 and 4.6! so effing happy

"only"?...that's not exactly low.

Pittsburgh is not boring. It is the nation's #2 largest college town. If you can't have fun with multiple clubs and bars within a 5-10 min walk or the infinite U.Pitt parties then something is wrong.

There are movies, the incline, great restaurants, shopping centers, an amusement park, sports (Steelers!!!!), fine arts, museums (free), orchestra, CFA top-notch Broadway-caliber shows, etc.

Name your interests and I'll find them.

only a 4.6??????

Die!!!!!

kiddin'

Im excited, but i dont know if I can turn down full tuition elsewhere... we'll see when I get my financial aid info from em.
