You bring an impressive array ....

Holy #$&#%@#!!

^ Congrats You Guys!!!!!!!!!!! ^

bah im still waiting.... probably because of the schedule change and not because im rejected....TT_TT

Ok I'm so behind. What is this whole MyUCLA thing I keep hearing about and how do you check it?

Rejected, 4.0 Regents Invite. missing a pre-req. Oh well, waiting on Cal anyway.

Oh and I also have not heard yet and submitted a schedule change a few months ago.

If we don't get a decision by the end of the day today do you guys think we're going to have to wait until monday for the next batch to come out?

Yes, Monday.

Did anyone who is still pending receive a phone call or e-mail from UCLA asking a question about your application? I did, and am wondering if that's why I haven't heard anything yet...maybe wishful thinking :)

what was the question about??

I think I got a call from UCLA admissions on thursday at around 6 pm but my idiot family didn't pick up the phone. When did they call you?

You're idiot family is the reason you have a roof over your head.

What if they try calling you about your app but you're never around when they call? It wouldn't be fair if they just rejected you because you didn't answer your phone :( They should call and email IMO

I got a call about 3 weeks ago from an admissions officer at UCLA asking me to clarify the grades that I received from a CC that I attended a few years ago in Seattle. That college used a numeric grading system rather than the A,B,C...etc that CCCs use. I explained this on my application, but evidently not well enough because I received e-mails concerning the same issue from admissions officers at UCSD (about 2 months ago, have since been admitted) and most recently from Cal (on 4/23). If my application was a potential reject, would they take the time to call for clarification? This is driving me nuts!

"If my application was a potential reject, would they take the time to call for clarification?"

I think they would, because they have to be fair with everyone... and not biased against the rejects.

"Did anyone who is still pending receive a phone call or e-mail from UCLA asking a question about your application? I did, and am wondering if that's why I haven't heard anything yet...maybe wishful thinking"

I'm still pending. I just remembered earlier today that I got a call from UCLA about my app about 5 weeks ago. But that was 5 weeks ago!

Yeah, I think you're right about them calling everyone to be fair wishfulone. I think I'm just trying to find ways to rationalize a possibility of admittance! My sister received a rejection letter yesterday and she has a 4.0, fantastic ecs, part-time job, solid essay etc. She applied to a different major than I did though, so maybe there is still hope for me...however slim it may be!
