thank you and love you all!!!!!

yes... please answer these questions...

go through the CC archives from last year- lots if help and answers to you question

I attend an all-girls boarding school...but I'm a day student. However I hang out with boarders a lot and feel I can answer any questions you have regarding boarding life. PM me if you would like more info, etc.

As for interview question...they sent me a questionnare and I filled it out with my interests, etc. And then they derived questions from that. It turned out my interviewer's sister knew my sister who was an alum and I had similar interests to my interviewer's sister and...well it was slightly strange.

The impressive thing on my application was probably that my sister was an alum and my great-aunt was Assistant to the Head YEARS ago. And I had a large range of interests: Theatre for seven years, piano for five years, flute for four years, singing for three years, softball for four years, school newspaper for a year, basketball for one year, gymnastics for one year (so sue me, I'm unathletic and needed a seasonal sport. I'm not a quitter!), Art Club for one year and Multicultural club for one year. The admissions office also put a handwritten P.S. on my acceptance letter on how much they liked my essay, so I guess that was a good part.

I only submitted the two standard recommendations from my Honors English and Algebra I teachers. I also submitted an essay on the benefits of single-sex education I had written for English and gotten an A- on. (NOT trying to be a suck-up, I swear!)

Advice? Be yourself in the interview, keeping care to be polite. The interviewer wants to see YOU. So try and become friendly. Smile. And try and have fun! :)

thanks seasonofluv, ...
