How many wrong answers did you get and what was your composite score? I'm trying to figure out how many total mistakes I can "allow" myself but still get at least a 32.

Thanks!

I believe it varies depending on the test–please correct me if i’m wrong.

OKgirl is correct. For the test I got last June (I got a 32) .. it was something very close to:
-6 = 69/75 = 33 on English
-0 = 60/60 = 36 on Math
-8 = 32/40 = 27 on Reading
-4 = 36/40 = 31 on Science

In general I’d say -4/5 on English, -6 on Math, -4 on reading, and -3 on science would be pretty average curves for a 32.

i think the way to calculate your scores r all the same.
Multiply number correct in each section by 36 then divide by the number of questions in that section u want the score in. After u do this for all 4 sections, take the average of all 4 and u have ur composite.

So it looks like around 20 total wrong answers will give me a score somewhere around 30-32…

allen, no… the scores are made under curves, not just the percentage correct.
