<p>I have searched previous posts, but no one seems to know how the language with listening test are like. </p>
<p>Are you allowed to rewind anything in the listening portions?
Can you fastforward the 15 seconds breaks?
If the proctors are reading the rules for other SAT subject tests, will the noise disturb me?
Can you start on the grammar section first, or do you have to do the listening part first?</p>

<p>I think the listening comes in the first 20 minutes of everyone’s test, regardless of what language you are taking, so yes you have to do listening first. The noise from the proctors will most likely not be a problem because they are given time before the test starts to instruct you…</p>
<p>But I’m wondering about the rewinding/fastforwarding too… I did a practice listening test and there was like 20 seconds after every question and I really wished I could just start it over. Because if I started it over and relistened to the passage I still wouldn’t take all of the 20 seconds of silence… I wonder if we can press any buttons on our cd players</p>
