To tie cornell

jhum. only 1 ED.
chi, 26e: i'm not on for one day and u guys are ganging together to try to beat my school. no no i don't think so!!! muhahahaha!!!

hey, i didn't do anything! it was all 26e lol. besides, it doesn't take much to beat it ;) haha, jk jk

i've noticed a lot of Penn applicants are also applying to UMass or Amherst. interesting - if we don't get into Penn (not to jinx anyone or anything!!!) and you guys end up goin to one of those two, i'll still end up meeting a few people, since i'm applying to Mt Holyoke lol <just a="" thought=""> ^_^</just>

How do I denote an extension on a number? I'm putting my guidance counselor's phone number on my UMich application, but it won't let me save it the way it is for some reason. Don't I just do something like the following:

(111) 123-4567 x8901

Help!

yea, that's usually how u write an extension. i wouldn't know why it doesn't work though

good thing i changed my mind about applying to Umass and Amherst

oo that's mean! what's wrong w/ those two schools? they're co-ed, dummy, so you don't have to fear all-girl dorms. are you sayin you dont wanna go to school with me >__<!!

Krabble - I didn't put the extension, just the main #.

that's not mean. cuz they are smart ppl and i'm really not. and u know that!!! so how the f*** is that mean!??!?! i'm glad i'm don't have to competite with them. if i get into my #1 school and u do too, we'll be like 4 hrs apart. that's not that much. and i know they are co-ed schools, i went to their college meeting thing.

Should I just put the main number for both my teacher and guidance counselor's phone #? Thanks!

P.S.- I assume I shouldn't put down anything for counselor's fax # if she doesn't have one.

Krab - Yup thats what I did.

mimi - well, how was i supposed to know wat you meant??? the way you wrote it made it sound like you didn't wanna go to UMass and Amherst like they're bad. and what are you cursing at me for?!

If I don't get into Penn, knock on wood, I'd like to be at :

Georgetown
NYU
Tufts
Columbia.......right, cause they'll accept me if Penn doesn't
Boston U
George Washington
UPitt

26e: Congrats on your insane number of posts!

"Columbia.......right, cause they'll accept me if Penn doesn't"

haha, i know how you feel. i also decided (recently, actually) to apply to Columbia. and NYU too - i've gotten over my fear of new york lol ^_^

NY is sweet! I'm completely ready to be independent and living in a city like NY!

well now u know

haha, actually, i've never been to NY. it just seems so BIG!!! kinda intimidating! i'm a total city girl - i NEED a city - but i've never been to one like NY. though i live in LA, LA doesn't seem as big (or rather, TALL) as NY lol

LA is just really spread out. NY is all crammed into one little space.

1st second choice: Berkeley

That's about it, hahaha.

berkeley is pretty close to standford. u'll get to know a lot of interesting ppl.

Yeah, I'm just worried about getting into HAAS after sophomore year!

But it should be interesting. I want to go to the East Coast though. Berkeley is like 40 minutes from my house...

Wharton please come through!
