I guess the disagreement we’re having in this thread stems from whether or not we enjoyed CC, which isn’t something that can rationally be argued as it’s a matter of opinion.

Speaking purely personally, CC’s been a long, drawn out absurdity. I didn’t have any APs (I got a GED at 16, hence CC) so I’ve been here for two years now. If I’d had the option, I would’ve gotten out a year ago, no question. The social scene sucks; classes are filled with uninterested mongoloids and good professors are few and far between. The entire experience has been naught but a boring stagnation for me, and I’ve a feeling many on this forum feel similarly.

U LOSE MONEY IN THE LONG RUN! DONT U GUYS GET IT??? YOU WILL LOSE ~50K$ AS INSTEAD OF WORKING ( AFTER GRADUATING ) , YOU ARE IN COLLEGE. STUDYING!! GET IT?

okay. you lose money in the long run. but again, in the long run, that is the difference between making 2 million dollars over your lifetime or 1,950,000. its a difference that (assuming you get promoted from your straight-out-of-college salary) can be made up by retiring a fraction of a year later.

you guys do realize you actually have to WORK for that money ? you don’t just get an “extra $50,000”.

I think it depends on your CC if it’s boring and dead then you might not want to stay but if you manage to make some friends and join clubs, take fun classes it could worth it.

Just want to say that that “extra 50k” is going to be spent on non-leisure necessities. Rent, food, utilities, transportation, etc. That’s not what it comes down to.

i’m sure plenty of us are already spending $ for rent, food, utilities, transportation, cc tuition, etc. w/o nearly as much income…the extra 50k is an extra 50k, the time spent on school is simply transferred to work…
