Ok I currently live in Virginia and I'm attending a local community college. I've been here for 1 year now and I'm ready to get on with life and transfer to university. I've been accepted to WVU and I'm thinking about going there. The problem is if I go to Wvu ill major in something that will grant me in state tuition and I'm currently looking at the biometric systems major but I don't know much about it yet. The reason I'm not going to attend a school in state is because the only schools that will accept me at this moment are smaller schools like Radford or odu but I would rather get a degree from a school with more prestige even though I know Wvu doesn't have the best reputation. I really want to study either geology or marine geology because I love the out doors I definitely don't want to be behind a desk all day but I'm afraid that's where biometric system is going to lead me. If I could get into jmu or UVA I would transfer there but with my poor
High school transcripts amd test scores I don't think that 1 year of community college with a 3.8 gpa will be enough to get into those schools. I really really want to study geology but I'm so ready to get on with my life. Should I transfer to Wvu to try something new? Besides biometrics is going to lead to a job after graduation guaranteed.
