To transfer?

Okay so I am a current second semester sophomore that goes to a small liberal arts school. I am considering transferring to Duquesne university for the beginning of my junior year.

At my current college I do have good friends and I would get good housing next year but I just don’t think I’m happy. My parents pretty much chose this school for me and I just kind of went. Also I should add that I came in as a biology major, which didn’t work out, and now I’m a communication major. I’m thinking of making that a minor though and switching to psych.

For Duquesne, I love the city and my boyfriend also goes to school in the city. Although, our relationship is fine now so hes not a main concern. I wouldn’t know anyone at Duquesne but they do have an IMC (integrated marketing communication) program I’m very interested in (I couldn’t major in marketing at my current school). and the location is much better for a career in advertising or pr.

Overall, I have no idea what to do, I just want to be happy at college. Should I stick it out at my current college? Or should I try my luck at a new school?
Also, my current school is very Catholic and I am not. Duquesne is Catholic as well but much larger with more diversity. And Duquesne costs more.
Lemme know what you think!

The biggest question is will your parents pay for Duquesne?
