I recently visited both UVa and UR and I can safely say that I will definitely be applying to the University of Richmond if my reach ED school defers or declines me. You guys put on a wonderful presentation (the best I've seen at any college) and the campus was beautiful. I'm definitely sold. I was expecting to like UVa a lot and be unimpressed by UR, instead the opposite ended up occurring. I'm just wondering my UR seems to fly so under the radar when it stands so far above the rest of the school in it's peer group of selectivity and the kind of kids it attracts. As another person in my party said in the car on the way back to I-64, "It's either a damn good presentation, or that's one really nice school". I just wanted to make sure you guys knew that. You're doing something right.

What a nice endorsement! Thanks for the great feedback!

It IS a really nice school (better than that, actually). Our reputation is still catching up to our reality and it is pretty hard to beat UVa in the publicity wars. UR and UVa are VERY different places and Richmond has an incredible amount of momentum.

So glad you had a great visit and to others who are reading this, we’d love to have you come take a look whenever it is convenient for you to be in our area.
