Hi i’m registered for a chem 2b class right now, but its discussion time is interferring with my clubs/activities time. 7-8 wednesdays =X.

So i was wondering what do u guys think, my options seem to be:

1)should i just keep what i have cause it’ll be hard to get into another?
I can keep what i have, go to the discussion and see how the TA performs to know if i even have to go to discussions.

2) Waitlist for another chem class and free up my clubs/activities time. Not sure how waitlist on chem 2b classes are though.

Suggestions? Thanks!!!

How often do you plan on attending discussion? Because as a chem TA... I know not very many students ever go to discussion, it's not required. We can't dock your grade for not going. TA's generally teach 2 sections for the same professor, so you can attend your TA's OTHER discussion if you really want to. I've had kids attend my discussion that weren't even my students at all. You can go to any discussion.

My advice is to just keep your current time, because if you drop it and waitlist then you'll have to do the whole PTA thing waiting outside the lab time to see if there is a spot - not worth it.
