so far I’ve been accepted into 7 out of my nine schools and was waitlisted at the other two. I was wondering what the pros and cons of waitlisting are?

for instance, why would someone choose not to be on the waitlist?

they would choose not to be on a waitlist if they got accepted to a school with a higher standard, or equivalent. or if they have now realized now, rather than when applying that they no longer want to go to that school. i myself was waitlisted to GW, sorta a surprise, but now i realize that i really want a campus environment, and i have been accepted to BC.

oOo I understand. So you are you going to go to bc next year?

if u choose to be on the waitlist are u dedicating urself to that school?
because Im on the aitlist at 3 schools and that would be hard to explain to each of them lol

as long as i get enough financial aid, i will definitely be at BC next year. ::fingers crossed::

and as far as i know, you are not dedicating yourself to that school. but i do not know for a fact.
