To what extent can scores suffice?

I'm preparing for a national engineering entrance exam in my country, and the number of hours required to study for it makes it absolutely impossible for me to take up extra curricular activities other than playing the piano, writing and maybe a little bit of community service.

But what if one's SAT and AP scores are 2400/2400 and 5/5? With that, what if the student has participated and won a medal in competitive exams on an international level like the International Math and International Physics Olympiad? Will the Ivies overlook the lack of brilliant extra curricular activities?

What are the chances of admission (with luck, along with a scholarship)?
