I'm the vale4dictorian of my class and I'm going to Cornell University - College of Arts and Sciences. The salutatorian is going to Fordham. "Mad" people are going to Fordham next year from our school.

:) out val is going to NJIT

Harvard, MIT, Brown, UMaine, McGill, John Hopkins.

MIT, Chicago, Cornell, Wellesley (everywhere she applied)

Haha, ours is going to UF.

Going to UPenn

last year: Yale (rejected from Harvard, accepted by Princeton, Stanford, MIT, and CalTech)
this year: Stanford

interestingly enough, somewhere around #5 is a girl who is going to Harvard

She's going to Swarthmore. She also got accepted at Brown, Vassar, Bard, and UVA. There were also a couple of oddball safeties, but I can't remember what they were. She didn't get rejected or waitlisted anywhere.

the past three:

Brown
Harvard
Harvard

how is the school Valedictorian be elected??
class coucil President or something?

no...at most schools, its highest GPA

But this year in my high school, the valedictorian is in top 10 but she doesn't have the highest GPA.
...I'm lost....

She is going to Harvard (EA)..
Second is also going to Harvard (RD)..
Third is going to Stanford...
I seriously feel so inferior T_T

Valedictorian had 1600 SAT AND 36 ACT and did not get in at HYPS, did get in to UPenn.

Val - Ga Tech
Sal - Wake Forest

In the pack - 1 Dartmouth, 3-4 Vandys, 3 W&L, 1 Bard

Wow, none of our valedictorians get into the top ten universities... Usually they get accepted to all the UCs but that's pretty much it. I think 7 years ago there was one that went to Yale. I think it's probably the high school ranking...because our high school isn't good at all. You guys think that would be why barely anyone from our school gets into colleges better than UCs?

Val. -CalTech
Sal. (2)-Berkeley/Berkeley
3. (me) Penn

the rest are some more Cal's, a few UCLA's and some other UC's

val (3) = uwash

We have like 900 valedictorians (actually, more like 9); it's really stupid.

But of the ones I know: Whitman, Brown, Dartmouth, CU-Boulder, Case Western.... Yup.

this year, rejected from harvard, going to yale
last year, harvard
year before, harvard
year before, princeton
