I couldn't really understand how their REA policy works but I want to apply to other schools early alongside Stanford.. if possible. So can anyone help me list these schools.

It is pretty clearly stated on their website:

The student may apply to any college/university with early deadlines for scholarships or special academic programs as long as the decision is non-binding.
The student may apply to any public college/university with a non-binding early application option.
The student may apply to any college/university with a non-binding rolling admission process.
The student may apply to any foreign college/university on any application schedule.

The popular thing to do at my school is apply REA, and then apply to our state school as well as other top public schools like UMich.

So I can actually apply early to UC Berkeley, UCLA, UVerginia,UNC Chapel Hill and many more alongside Stanford?

Just to reiterate/clarify what others have said: you can apply to public schools with non-binding admissions (e.g. no MIT).

UC Berkeley IIRC only has one application deadline.

Yep, all those public schools. Also, because of the first bullet about scholarships, you can apply to schools like Boston College that require you to apply EA in order to be considered for their Presidential Scholar Program.

Thank you all for your help.
@Bingo77 I can’t apply to Boston College b/c I am an international and they don’t give FA to internationals. So would you please update me with similar EA scholarship programs that go with the first bullet? I hope I am not asking too much of you, I googled it and couldn’t find anything.
Thanks in advance.

Also, this link may have some that require you to apply early, though I’m not sure on all of them: <a href=“Competitive Full Tuition / Full Ride Scholarships - Financial Aid and Scholarships - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/financial-aid-scholarships/1461983-competitive-full-tuition-full-ride-scholarships.html

Tnx a lot!

You can apply to non binding (no early decision schools) early programs that either have a deadline for some scholarship or are public. You can apply to any rolling decisions school. However, some schools might also have restrictions that won’t permit you to apply to them AND to Stanford so you have to watch that as well.

I actually ended up applying to Stanford RD, so I don’t have an enormous list of schools that might work, unfortunately. Honestly, I’d just look at all the schools in which you’re interested, and research the aid opportunities provided from there.
The only schools to which I applied that would have been okay to apply to in conjunction with Stanford were my state school, Boston College (for the PSP program), and Tulane (as I also applied for some of their big scholarships that had December deadlines).
Good luck on your search!
