<p>Columbia has one of the best political science programs.</p>
<p>I second Columbia. It has the best poli sci department and is in NYC. But then again, a lot of very prestigious schools would be good.</p>
<p>For UN work, a major or minor in International Relations would probably be best.</p>
<p>That said, Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, Occidental, GWU, Brandeis, and American are good. And they'd be a range of safeties, matches, and reaches (most likely).</p>
