As for cigars, I don’t really mind them. I think it’s most definitely wrong for a twelve year old to be smoking them, but I will admit I think they smell good. I have some friends (who are of course 18) who smoke them and I don’t mind that.

Cigarettes, on the other hand, are just nasty. It seems like everyone where I go smokes them. There’s this long sidewalk from the student lot up to the school that’s just lined with butts and boxes. In the morning the whole thing just smells like smoke. It ****es me off.

My friend’s boyfriend has been doing that since he was 11. I know he’s been through a lot growing up, so he has my sympathy to some extent. But it’s just what he went through and to justify his addiction.

It’s kinda sad actually. She decided to date him with the understanding that he would quit smoking and when he does smoke, she would leave him. He stopped smoking (or so he claims) initially. Then I just had to be the one who caught him smoking again, like a week later. I didn’t know what to do, but I didn’t tell her (she wouldn’t believe me if I did). More and more people told her, and she was just in denial with it and then starting making this accusations that people are trying to break them up because they’re jealous of their relationship.

Eventually, he owned up to it and I don’t know, she’s just okay with it now. He’s always making excuses about why he still smokes and then she’s always excuses for why she’s tolerating it.

I hate to say it but I knew he wasn’t going to quit in the first place. We tried helping him but there’s only so much that can be done. He’s just way too addicted, but I hope he stops for his own good.

I was figuring the same when I entered the thread. Still entered. Kinda dumb.

Anyway, a cigar really isn’t a fire risk, unless he decided to spill gasoline all over his room and then drop it in a puddle. You really have to try hard to start a house fire, they just don’t happen that easily.

still, lol. it sounded like she was in denial over him cheating on her, or something. not…cigarettes, which most people can stop once they really want to.

It seems that other than TCBH, all of the male members of CC posting in the thread assumed that he was wanking… I think that Freud would be most intrigued by this thread
