Today's ACT WAS HARD!

Thats what I put, because it talked about the muscles tightening or somthing .. I dunno.

I didn't know what to put for the first one of that section.

what di you havta do in the one in which it moves across the x axis??.

yea it wasnt strained for that one and for the x axis one u just rotate it

I found the science part in the practice test to be alot easier.

As for math and reading, it was pretty much that same for both.

English was easier on the actual test.

Third time taking it.. thought it was the easiest one yet, especially the science section. All science answers were in the passage and english didn't have much reorganizing of sentences and paragraphs. The math seemed alot easier after studying for the Math IIc.. but the timing still got me. Anybody else think the essay was a bit ridiculous (no homework!?) really easy/classic topic to discuss, though

"was the absolute value one |x+b| >= 4?"

^I think that was the only math problem I genuinely did not know how to do. The values on the number line were set up in such a weird way.

But yeah, I didn't think that overall this one was as hard as the last test. I completely ran out of time on the science portion though. I had like 2 whole rows of questions left.

EDIT: Oh, there was one more I wasn't sure about. Remember the question where it gave you a graph (it looked like a sine or cosine graph... just a curvy line going up and down and up and down...), and it asked you what type of graph it was. The choices were constant, linear, quadratic, cubic, or trigonometric. I knew it wasn't constant, linear, or quadratic. Now that I think about it, maybe I should have put cubic? I marked it as trigonometric. =/

I'd love to know the answer to the absolute value question.

I had no idea, so I took a guess at A.

i think i put A too

The answer was A... After two minutes of spending time on the problem.. I checked the list twice and got it right.

My 11 year old brother took it today and he didn't answer half the questions.

good for him

oh omg! i even forgot to bring my calculator!!!

so i ended up calculate all the things by hand....just imagine how many mistake i will have

plus, i dont have enough time for reading as well!!! our supervisor, the stupid lady even cut our time for 2 minutes!!! i dont have the time to glance at the last 5 questions!!! OMG OMG OMG. SCREWWWWWED!!!!

average desi..i put trigonometric too

and i put A for that "was the absolute value one |x+b| >= 4?" one

Form 63D

-9:59 or 405
-24 - factors that don't multiply together
-Matrix- k=-3
-last problem = pie
-Area of shape in the grid - 23
- 1 mile equals .05 gallon used - correct statement
-44 sodas sold
- the inequality with b = got A
- lowest sine was E, the farthest to the right
- x^5 + y^5 =1- can't be true
- Trig function
- X^0 + Y^0 = 2 = answer is 2

What was the question for the "trig function" answer?

it was like: is this funtion....
choices:
A) linear
B) quadratic
C)somethign incorrect (maybe cubic?)
D)something incorrect
E) trigonemtric <-- right answer

I had never seen any numberline like that before...guessed B or something wrong. Overall it was so much easier than the SAT, how do I get the scores quickly?

u can check online Dec 19th

check online where?
