TOEFL prep?

Hey guys,

does anyone have experience with practice material for the toefl test? I wanna do the computer based one, and I dont know where I can get practice material for it. Are there any good books, or softwares for it?

Hello,

I took the new TOEFL ibt a few days ago.
Just do the practice test on the TOEFL practice homepage. If you take the cbt, there will be no speaking section, so just skip it during the test.

I found the 3 practice tests that come with Kaplan's book helpful as well.

English please

Hi,

I think all test centers in Germany host the IBT now. It practically has replaced the CBT already. I don't even know if you can still take the CBT. I'm sure that there's a center in Hannover as well. Just go to the TOEFL registration homepage and you can see a list of test centers.

There are some minor differences between CBT and IBT, but the probably biggest one is that the IBT has a speaking section and the CBT doesn't. You can find a lot more information about the IBT on toefl.org. There you can take a tour and do a practice test as well.

It was quite easy, I actually expected it to be much harder.

Btw, I tried to send you a private message, but your inbox was full.

sry man... its not full anymore, I took care of it
