I was wondering if it was possible to order TOEFL scores by phone from a country other than the US. I think this would be a faster alternative to snail mail. Has anyone ever tried this before? How long does it usually take?

It should be possible. I didn't try it; I sent my score report by snail mail. I imagine the back of your score report states how long it takes. I forgot what it read, and I don't have my score report sheet anymore.

The country code of the U.S. is 001. I think the score report states what the three digit area code is, as well as the number.

If you are asking about sending your Toefl score to colleges, yes you can do it by phone from your own country.I have done it!

'Kay, I went to the TOEFL website. You're probably not interested in the part about HEARING your scores from the phone, but ordering them via phone, right?

Long addy. smirk Just like ETS to make everything convoluted and complicated.

The TOEFL test payment means that you get one printed examinees score record up to four official score reports that ETS will send directly to the institutions or agencies you designate.
For a fee, you may also request additional official score reports for institutions you did NOT identify on the day of the test. Your request may be made by phone, mail, or fax.

By Phone (Credit Card Required)
Reports are mailed four working days after your phone request.
The fee is US$12 for the service plus US$17 for each report ordered.
You may order up to six score reports per call. To request more than six reports, you will need to call again.

The website which lists the institution's codes, if you don't already have your college's codes are at: http://www.ets.org/Media/Tests/TOEFL/pdf/0405incod.pdf
PDF file. Dodgy things to load if you got slow Net connection.

Hope this helped!

ETS sure knows how to make money. 12 additional just to use the phone. Blech.
