Hey everyone.

As you'll might already know, I gave my SAT in June and I got a 700 in CR.

What I want to know is, is there any point in giving the TOEFL? Does it increase your admission chances at all?

Most universities waive the TOEFL requirement if you get above 690 in CR, but I know people who have given the TOEFL in spite of getting 700+ in CR.

Also, is TOEFL mandatory at any top 50 university and Purdue?

Im not taking it.Well, probably, lets see after my SAT score
Most schools waive it if you have a certain required score in CR and also,if english has been the medium of instruction in your schools for a certain amount of years.I suggest you make do a careful perusal of each college/university’s site that you’re interested in.

I consider it a waste of money, time and my thought space personally.

I didn’t give the TOEFL.

I gave it in spite of getting a 700 in CR.

I figured that UCLA and a few more require it… So yeah.

Who cares, I just bought myself bragging rights for $165.

Patent rights to be loaned on request to the pixie.

just email em. gatech, and Illinois dont require toefl for a CR score above 590

^^I have to spell it out?Hn.
As in, me thinks can get away by bribing you an’ submitting your score. Get it?

Ohhh I got it the first time but I wasn’t sure if you meant that :P

CMU, UMich, Washington Univ, UCLA, UPenn, UTA, Virginia Polytech, Maryland (CP), South California, Purdue …

These are the ones that require TOEFL ( irrespective of your CR scores ) ( Not sure of UPenn)
