<p>You need to check your schools VERY carefully. At some places you MUST apply for finaid for your freshman year in order to be eligible to do so in subsequent years. The drift of your post indicates that you just don’t want to DO the forms. My suggestion is that you DO the forms and get the finaid applications completed…unless, of course, you are able to pay the full price. The “edge” for students not applying for aid is not that significant. If you don’t have the stats to be accepted at a school, they won’t accept you…unless you donate enough money to build a building.</p>
