Told two different schools I'm attending in the fall, is this bad?

why don't we just end this thread and let Mother Theresa get on wih saving the world? He/she seems to have all the answers already...just can't quite figure out why he/she felt the need to post here in the first place.

hmm well this is a bit off the topic..

ive accepted ONE :) school in the us, but i also wanted to accept a place at a canadian uni
can i do that and then decide in the fall where exactly to go?

That's great that you're so dedicated, but maybe some of us are a little skeptical. You seem to have no problem with "the ethics of this" and are willing to straight up lie in writing. I guess everyone is going after you because we think you SHOULD have a problem with it.

Okay, I for one, in spite of my previous posts, am willing to try to be helpful.

If the two schools were community colleges, nobody would care because you just line up and pay your money. If the two schools were Yale and Brown, that would be a horrible thing to do, and you should get nailed. Your lack of concern for the morality of this is very disturbing. It is as if you were asking whether people get away with robbing banks, because if they do, you want some of that action. The helpful advice is that I think you should start a new thread entitled: "Has anyone ever had acceptance rescinded for accepting two schools?".
