Ok, for those of us who have yet to hear back from SC, what do you think this means? Any reason we should have ANY hope of an acceptance or is USC just doling out cruel and unusual punishment by making us wait as long as possible before hearing bad news?

People keep saying that they’re still sending out acceptances, and I believe them.
One other classmate and I both applied to USC, we’re both qualified (I hope, at least haha), we both haven’t heard, but we both got the changed to “acted on…” status last night.
Don’t get discouraged yet! They said they would still be sending both acceptances and rejections through tomorrow

I can’t help but feel like I’ve been rejected. The wait has been utter torment. I’m pretty sure they’re still sending out acceptances though. At this point, I just want something, anything! Grrr, postal system…

Sounds great. I emailed the admissions rep from my region and she said all decisions had been sent out by Saturday, hopefully ours are acceptances.

Only reason I’m discouraged is we have yet to see someone today on CC say they got an admissions letter today. And many have been admitted for spring, while I basically need fall

hm, tro1991, that’s interesting. someone else posted under the “good news” thread

that decisions will be sent till the 11th. I wonder whose right…(jeopardy music) lol

Straight from the e-mail: We did mail all decisions as of Saturday, so you should be receiving a decision today or tomorrow, I would guess.

aw man. so nervous. it’s USC tomorrow. All or nothin’. Go big or go home. haha

Good luck guys!!! :D

just bumping this up…hope there is some good news remaining for everyone still waiting.

Only a miracle can save me now!

from long island, ny - unfortunately just received my rejection letter, but i knew it was coming. my letter did not have a postmark on it (weird, huh?), but the letter was dated march 27, 2010. i don’t know if it means anything, but the first line of the letter stated, “we have come to the end of our application review period.” i’m guessing that it means that mine was one of the last letters to be sent out, but i can’t really be sure. good luck to the rest!

In looking at stats on another website, I noticed that many people had received rejection letters in the last couple of days. It appeared that most of the acceptance letters had been sent in the weeks prior.

Has anyone else noticed something similar?

Just to give you some hope- I received my admission packet yesterday (Southern California) for Fall 2010 for CLAS. It was postmarked 3-29.

^ SERIOUSLY? Or April Fool’s?

I’m serious. That would be really mean. : )

Best wishes, Polar Bear!!!

Congratulations! (I’m still a bit skeptical… there have been a lot of “Lost” references on the forum… and the “polar bear” on Lost turned out to be a false lead… and it is April 1st…)

On the other hand - I am desperate for good news for all of you still waiting, so I REALLY hope so!

In the spirit of April Fool’s I think I will have 50 pizzas delivered to the Office of Admission today.

seriously, a decision HAS to arrive today…
