^ i dont expect to get in too with my horrible ACT score...well, hope UM doesnt just look at the numbers. anyway, good luck to everyone

well as much as i believe i dont have much of a chance

i believe there will probably be 1 if not 2 more big acceptance waves
right? it makes sense.

so i still think we should have a legitimate chance!

i just keep thinking like they could've deferred us if they wanted to by now..so we're not immediate no-s!

and i wouldkill them if they deferred me on christmas eve

i actually read that this year theyre looking at numbers more than anything. i read it on one of these threads

I really hope that they don't send out defers on xmas eve... but one of my friends last year got deferred on christmas eve... but then she got in 3 days later. So I am a little nervous

more on numbers?!?! that would suck!!!! yeah we should all start a chaos if they defer us on christmas eve!!!

Deferred

The thing that says 7th Semester Grade just appeared on my Wolverine Access which I am assuming means I am deferred.

It doesn't really matter to me since I was accepted ED to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. I just find it odd...

Ugggh the wait is killing me

YES I HAVE THAT BLANK BOX TOO! I'm sooo scared. Its my top school and i hate when people apply here as their safety.

The blankbox does not mean anything. It is just another slot for any additional info they might ask. Accepted students have a blank box too. Clicking the title bar sorts it in ascending or descending order. I checked my son's who is admitted. It was always there.

shayman...i totally get what you mean. taking up spaces from people who have this as their top choice.

i really don't mean to sound negative but im getting a sense that acceptances and defers come as they are decided....while rejections are saved last minute til the 24th....it would be encouraging to know the ppl did get acceptances on the 24th or days before

omg so im freaking out right now! my materials all say received 11/4 but I know I sent them way ahead of that time!! am i still considered early action????

i think i am going to cry!

It's okay if the date is after Nov. 1, as long as your envelope was POSTMARKED before then. The only reason why it probably has a later date is because it takes the office up to TWO WEEKS to process any documents or materials. They probably have an overload of applications right now, so don't worry about it at all. You'll be considered for Early Response.

Best of luck!

thanks! u too! hopefully we will hear soon!

Waiting on an official letter of deferral - now that I've seen the "7th semester grades" box under my received documents. :[
