Tony Blair's son off to HARVARD?

Tony Blair's eldest son graduates today from Bristol University with an expected upper second degree in ancient history.

He will spend three months in Washington working as an unpaid intern for a Republican congressman. But after a gap year he hopes to be accepted for an MBA course at Harvard.
Euan, 21, is believed to have tried to get into the college this year but failed.

There is fierce competition for entry into the Ivy League university in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which has produced six US presidents. A government source said: "Euan is ambitious and is really hoping to make it to Harvard.

"But he's got the internship before that, and he knows he's very fortunate to get it." Downing Street refused to comment.

Euan's brother Nicky, 19, has landed a summer job in Hollywood as a production assistant on Lisa Kudrow's new show. Lisa played Phoebe in Friends.

Mr Blair read law at Oxford in the early Seventies, gaining a second class degree.Wife Cherie graduated with the highest first of her year in law at the London School of Economics in 1975.

How does Tony Blair's son not get into whatever college he wants?

maye he is THAT bad.. lol

Or maybe he just isn't what Harvard's looking for.

Maybe daddy should donate a library. =)

haha.. but it still comes as a surprise that he is not accepted, alot of students who are children of pms and pres from other countries get in and alot of them really dont have much to offer except for their last names

lol. how true. seems that cherie blair's smarter than her husband...

Dude, THAT bad in regards to Harvard isn't really that bad at all.

Very few people are admitted to Harvard Business School directly out of college.

They prefer that you work for a year or two and then apply.

Bristol University's a very good university - some courses are even harder to get into than Harvard (notably, vetinary science and english).

Probably being Blair's son isnt good enough?
