Too ambitious???

I’m an international student from Vietnam currently in sophomore year, with stats below:

GPA (UW): 3.9
SAT: 1480 (I’ll retake and aim for at least 1500)
SAT II: plan on taking World History, Bio, and Chem.

Extracurriculars:

  • President of a service club that builds new homes for underprivileged families in rural Vietnam (highlight)
  • President of Medical Interns program at school (medical internships for students are very uncommon here)
  • Co-editor of school’s literary + arts magazine
  • Co-editor of school’s official publication
  • Summer job: assistant for a pharmaceutical company
  • City-wide STEM competition awards
  • Link Crew: I help freshmen adjust to high school academically and emotionally
  • Art: I paint regularly and donate my art to a charity auction every year, also designed school’s sweatshirt and other souvenirs
  • National Honor Society: I’m in charge of the stage design for our upcoming TEDx event

Main essay: I plan to write about making omelettes everyday and how that shapes who I am.

I plan on applying to: Amherst (ED), UMass Amherst, Middlebury, Brandeis, NYU, URochester, Colgate, Clark as a biology + visual art double major. I also thought about Brown-RISD, but I think that’s near to impossible.

My family can contribute ~20 000/year, so I’ll need some FA.

Please tell me what else I can do to improve my chances. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
