<p>Interesting. Some colleges in the U.S. are approximately 50% asian, which is not indicative of the general population as a whole. Those Canadian colleges are a bargain relative to most places in the U.S. We know a few families that have sent their kids to Canada for college, even though they were admitted to good places here in the U.S.
Canada is very different in it’s racial makeup, due to large numbers of immigrants. Probably in the next couple of decades, whites will comprise less than half the population.</p>
<p>I also noticed that the percentages of Asian students in boarding schools are disproportionally high comparing with other groups. I realized that this is a sensitive topic and people don’t like to talk about it here in CC. However, I really want to hear what people think about this from different perspectives, like from Asian Americans, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans and European Americans.</p>
