I am pretty certain that once my D has finished two years of Calc in 11th she would do no better, probably worse, that she did after 9th grade PreCalc. Nothing in Calc will help her, and she more than likely will have forgotten trig double angle formulas, phase/offset graphs of trig functions, etc. Take it based on coursework, not an arbitrary grade. (Fwiw, I don’ think AIME helped her
