I'm sure most of us checked yesterday (even though it was for freshman) and got this letter:

We have received your application for Fall Quarter 2009. However, admission decisions have not yet been made for our transfer applicants. We plan to begin notifying transfer applicants of our decisions starting in late April. Please check with us again around that time.

but I was wondering if everyone has a 'UCLA Student ID' number displayed in the top right corner too. haha, or maybe I'm just being hopeful.

Yeah, everyone has it. If you applied to UCLA, you get a app ID (which you use to sign in to your admissions decision and is a seven digit number), and a UCLA ID that will be yours forever. The UCLA ID is a 9 digit number that you use to create a URSA account (UCLA Login) which is basically where you take care of adds, drops, glimpse at course schedule, etc. But this is only if you become a UCLA student of course

is it killing anyone else that UCLA has not told transfers if they’ve been accepted yet!!! I’ve called a couple times…and had friends call to try and get some glimpse of information out of them for a specific DATE as to when they will release the acceptance… UHGG its killing me they keep saying “late april, early may” LIKE COMEONE!!! why do all other UC schools already have transfers notified… and how is this going to effect housing!!!

Also it really sucks because I applied and auditioned for the Theater department so my grades and stuff really have small relevance to whether or not they accept me…

although they did call me and ask me if I was accepted would i be willing to take summer or inter-session classes to catch up on some ge’s that I am missing because I would be transfering from a semester system to a quarter…they did say i was one of the students they were interested in but also drove home the fact that they have not made any decisions yet…

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN!!! haha I dont want to get my hopes up but it seemed like a very promising phone call…
