Too early?

Hello all,
I am a freshman at a college that I am not all too fond of. Because of this I have decided to transfer at the end of this year and hopefully go to a school for the fall semester of 2012. Since I have made this decision so early I have gotten most of my paper work in order and almost completed my essay. My question is "Is it too early to send all the paper work in the next couple of days?" I want to send everything early to show the college that I am eager and would really like to go there. ( kind of like early action for seniors). The college is Uconn if that mattes at all.
Thanks in advance.

When is their deadline? I wouldn’t send it 4+ months in advance, maybe at the end of the semester so they can see your final grades. Otherwise they won’t have any idea how you’re doing in college.

I believe their deadline is march, but I could be mistaken. What if I sent the application in now and sent the grades when they become available?

You could do that. If their application for next Fall was already released that you could access it, then they probably wouldn’t mind. But I don’t think it will make any difference because most adcomms won’t even look at your file until everything has been received, so they won’t look at your essays or anything until your final transcripts are in.
