Right now I am only signed up for these 5 classes for my final semester:

Honors Physics
AP US Government
AP Lit and Comp
Symphony Orchestra
Chamber Orchestra

Took Calc III last semester so am done with Math. Have already taken 6 other AP classes. My day will be done by 1 o'clock and I have started looking for an after school job.

Would Cornell see this as slacking? I would use the "additional information" section on the CommonApp to explain.

Your totally fine. Im only taking two AP’s next sem too. Didnt you list your classes when you applied to Cornell? They dont seem to care nor do they really check up (this comes from other CCer’s)

I’m applying RD this week. I wondered because an Admission person at Colorado College told me selective colleges expect FIVE core classes a semester.

Most schools want to see you taking similar courses both semesters senior year. They don’t want to see a lighter course load senior spring. Three core courses is a light schedule. I am surprised that your math course isn’t a full year course.

My Calculus III course was through Colorado State University, worth 3 sem hours of college credit.
I’m thinking of adding Zoology, which is just a 1 semester course but a lab science.
