too good to be true!!

Everything is perfect and nothing has never been missing or lost or forgotten or even better nothing has never been requested in my D's college file at Princeton! she even called again yesterday to make sure and the lady said " you are ok! everything is fine with your application!"... but for me it looks very suspicious... it looks like Princeton don't care about her appl.. like if she was already in the bad pile! she applied to 10 colleges, and every other days schools are asking for stuff , financial forms or missing transcript or just send email or brochures... well, with P since the beginning ( oct) everything looks too good to be true! i know i am very suspicious and others would be happy to hear that the application is fine...but .. since she is not 2400 and 36..i think it's a bad sign! what do you guys think??

It’s no surprise that they are always number one for “school runs like butter” or something like that. They are so darn efficient it’s amazing. I wouldn’t read anything into it other than they seem to be right on top of everything.

It is normal for a school NOT to be contacting you about an application, not the other way around. I have not been contacted about missing materials once.

I haven’t heard anything either… and just like you other schools have been asking for missing items. I don’t know…

I wish that meant something, but it doesn’t.

The only thing I was missing anywhere was an SAT Score Report for Duke, and I sent that in again before they contacted me.

Don’t worry LaVie… they have everything, they do not communicate just to make the parents and students feel better. They are busy with decisions, and all you can do as a parent now, is wait.

It is not surprising you are having a hard time being patient, after the most stressful year of parenting. But really, if your daughter has done everyting she can, you must trust in the process, and have faith in Princeton (and other schools) to do their jobs.

If your daughter is accepted, you will instantly and eternally, love the school to which she is admitted. Best of luck.

^ thank you! and best of luck to you too!

they do care… and they cared enough to keep her application in one piece without losing anything

laVie: glad u have CC…looks like March is going to be a long month for you…we’re here for you!!!

this college process is very new for me ( in my country it’s way more simple!) and the day i found out that CC existed that day changed my D’s life and mine and the whole family’s life too!!! ( my son is next!!) but it’s also more stressfull… Now i know to play the game better than at the beginning, it will be easier for my S. Yes, March is a tough month. but we’ll survive! see you all soon with the results!! i wish you luck and have faith!

Princeton is the MOST efficient school when it comes to applications. My interviewer contacted me just days after I sent in my application. I faxed in some bits of my application and it showed up on tracking the day after. My counselor posted some bits of his part and it showed up a week after and I am international!
