Too Good To Go…..who has tried it?

none here

Little kid got excited when I mentioned this app to her. She checked with her friends, and they said Seattle doesn’t have anything good. :-1: I guess our eaters are voracious and don’t leave much behind!

I haven’t listened to this particular podcast, but “How I Built This” (HIBT) is one of my favorite podcasts.

Just hit the jackpot on my first try. Our local donut shop joined a little while ago; everyday they list a bag at $5.99, $18 value. Today I was picking up a book (CC book club selection) at the library across the street so figured, why not.

Woo hoo! Looks like someone had a special order that they cancelled.

Can you freeze donuts!?

Is this in the right thread??

Great score and google says yes, you can freeze donuts.

They are discussing the business, Too Good to Go in the podcast…usually they talk to the CEOs/founders and find out how they got the business idea, etc.

100% on the freezing donuts. I do it all the time. Well I did when I bought donuts. Now it’s a very very seldom treat

My haul that I just picked up from my usual place. A ball of smoked mozzarella, a sub sandwich and pita bread. Yum!

Looks like the sandwich alone was $10+ - and mozzarella is not cheap!

No price on the mozzarella, I’ll look next time I’m in there.

So my husband has been going back to the office a few times a week, and there are several options on his route. Today I ordered from bagelwich, $5.99, I’ll update later.

Big score, at least 2 dozen assorted bagels, some sticks and flat bagels, and they are delicious (like NJ bagels should be). I tend to be lazy and buy them from Shoprite to freeze (they get them from a bagel shop) but these are better and definitely cheaper. My husband ate one on the drive home.

I haven’t got anything in awhile so took a chance today. Hummus and a $24.99 Mississippi mud pie, for $4.99. I’ll start back on

a diet Monday.
