Hello all,
I applied EA to Case but have kind of forgot about the “showing interest” thing. Is it too late to request an interview? Oh, and I probably live in a place with no alums

I would go ahead and contact the admissions office about a interview. If you get in with EA, it will help you make a decision; if you get waitlisted (this can happen often with EA), it might help you get off the waitlist. (If you do not get accepted, you can drop a note an cancel.) . Letting the admission counselor know of your interest is always a good thing.
I wish you the best of luck.
@Jigglewig Same thing happened to me. I applied EA but I only requested an alumni interview 3 days ago. No reply yet. I’m an international student. I think that there are probably no alumni in my place lol
I spoke with an admissions counselor at an open house and inquired about whether it was necessary to interview. He replied that showing interest does not have to mean interviewing. In my case, I have formally visited campus twice, so he said it was probably not necessary for me to interview, unless I had something dire to tell the university that wasn’t reflected on my application. He also said that they can tell when you’ve opened their emails, which shows that you are interested in what they have to say, and therefore shows interest.
