I applied to msu in September and was accepted within a week. I didn't know what I was going to major in when I applied so I did not apply to James Madison. Now I am positive I want to be pre-law and after talking to friends, JMC seems like a great program. I'm stressed out because I know it is extremely late to apply to a residential college. I guess what im wondering is, is it possible for me to be admitted to JMC this late in the game or will I have to try for next semester? Any input would be great!

It’s never too late. Just contact them to be put on the waiting list. Tons of students change majors during AOP or fall welcome so you will likely be able to get in. Be persistent, send emails and when you are at AOP, talk to the JMC advisor etc. and it should be no problem. Worst comes to worst, you can get into madison your 2nd semester of college. But you will very likely be able to get in before then if you are persistent
