Too late for rolling admissions?

I haven't been here in awhile! I thought it would be good for my sanity, but I'm still neurotic :( I'm finishing my applications, but I don't have a very good feeling about them. I have a 3.6 from my latest college (a CC), a 2.4 from my last one, and a 3.3 unweighted HS. There is also an ancient 1560/1600 SAT I hanging around.

I think Pitt might have been a match for me if I had applied earlier, but their admissions are rolling, and now that it's sort of late in the cycle, I'm not so sure. Do I still have a chance? If not, by which schools would I have a better chance of being accepted?

Welcome back....people allways come crawling back...hahaha :)

btw, that's a very high SAT score you got there.

I wanted to to tell you not to worry about rolling and just apply asap. Look at it this way, statistically speaking, the margin of acceptance early on in the cycle and late in the cycle can't be THAT different. (There's a set predetermined level of competence or achievement an applicant has to have to be admitted.)

If you applied early and got in, then you would have PROBABLY gotten in as a late applicant as well. Vice versa, if you get rejected now after applying late, you can take some solace in that fact that there's a good chance you would have gotten rejected as an early applicant as well.

Start today, apply tomorrow!
