Too late or no?

Hello

I am a senior, and I took the Oct SAT Reasoning. I did not really study as well as I could have, and scored a 2040. A 2040 is NOT going to get me into my dream schools for business: USC, UIUC, Indiana-Bloomington, etc. Should I retake the SAT in December? I know I can pull off 750+ in math and writing if I study, and at least 700+ in critical reading.

Also, should I take SAT physics in Jan? How late is too late for subject tests?

I am done with all the applications by the way, so is it too late?

If you want, it’s not too late to improve your SAT score. A bit more practice might put you at 2100+.

If you have time to study for SAT subject tests, then go ahead and take it in January, especially its required! Math II is also a good one if you’re good at math. And Literature if you read alot and enjoy it and got a good CR score.

If it’s too low for the schools you’re applying to, then retake. But make sure you study for it…nobody wants to hear the excuse, “I got X score, but could’ve gotten Y if I’d studied”.
