UVA has a deadline of March 1st. I am really bad that I missed it, but I really want to go there this fall or summer. Can I still apply for business major? I am a current community college student with 65 credits with GPA 3.966.

Dude, I don’t know. It doesn’t look good since the deadline passed. Your GPA is great though! You must have gotten one 3.80 and three 4.0s.

Umm, it’s more probable that he had 8 A’s or A+'s and 1 B+.

(I didn’t know individual 3.8 grades existed.)

Well, except that he has 65 credits. Maybe from advanced standing?

Makes for an interesting NP-complete problem.

I dont think that they will accept late applications because it is done through the Common App. Missing the deadline means that you weren’t organized and no matter how good of a GPA you have you should have been on top of things. If you are out of state you had no change anyway, but if you were instate you just missed the greatest opportunity of your life. Why did you miss the deadline, most people started working on their applications months ago. Have you written your essays for the application, that is what takes the most time?

Well if you’re a CC student in VA, you could just stay at CC for one more year and apply next year. A year lost basically. I mean, you could take the year off to do something if basically you don’t think you’ll progress anywhere else in CC.
