<p>My friend missed the December 1st scholarship deadline and so never applied to Bama. It’s extremely likely that she’ll make National Merit Finalist, though, and I hear you can still get the scholarship if you’re a finalist. Is it too late for her to apply to Bama, though? For both regular admissions and then also for the Honors Program. We’d love to be Bama bound together :)</p>

<p>The Dec 1st scholarship deadline doesn’t apply to NMFs. The deadline for NMFs is May 1st.</p>
<p>Your friend will likely make NMF, because rejection letters went out in early January. Sounds like she didn’t get a rejection letter, so she’s likely made it.</p>
<p>Anyway…tell her to submit the app, and the scholarship app indicating NMF, and she’ll get the scholarship.</p>
