I'm from Vermont and love St. Mike's, tried to persuade my son to apply, he was not interested but now finally showing interest. We live overseas so he would like to be near family. He's got a 3.0, but really good SATs, recommendations and essay (I think!), and a pretty good soccer player, wants to study classics. Also he's "international" - he's American, but has lived overseas all his life and his father is Palestinian.

Can he apply for January 2011 admission if it's DEFINITELY too late for September 2010?

Wadirum2010,

You need to contact the Office of Admission and explain the situation. Usually my supervisor is very understanding about late applications with special circumstances, especially for “international” students. I am sure that it is not too late for September 2010. You can reach the office Monday-Friday from 8AM-4:30PM (EST) by calling 1800-SMC-8000. You should ask to speak to Jacki Murphy. I will give her a heads up.

Best,
