Too late to ask for a recommendation? I need your advice!!

So I have 2 recommendations already from my AP bio teacher and AP english teacher from last year, but I was wondering if I should ask my 12th grade AP french teacher for a recommendation. It's kind of short notice--about a month before applications are due, but I think her recommendation could be better than my bio teacher's. Is that too short a time period for her to write one? Should I ask her? If she does write one for me, that would be two humanities recommendations (although I do want to go into the humanities)--is that alright?

Tell me your thoughts.

Teachers at my school generally request at least 10 school days notice before writing a rec. A month should be more than enough time, though it’s courtesy to make sure she has the time.

Some schools will ask for a humanities rec and a math/science rec; others allow two academic teachers. Check the requirements for your particular schools. Personally, also being a humanities person, I sent a French and an English rec.
